THE CHALLENGE

WWF wanted to take a proactive role in engaging people around the world to join the Fridays for Future, the youth-driven campaign of the global climate strike movement.

OUR STRATEGY

Reign enlisted 100 influencers to collectively take to Instagram to educate audiences about the climate crisis and encourage them to take political action by contacting their local legislators. Using the hashtag #actonclimate influencers all over the world asked their followers to join the movement, taking a proactive and constructive role in influencing policy. To make an immediate impact, each influencer included a clear call to action with a link to email local representatives or a number to text (ex/text CLIMATE to 71333).

THE RESULTS

The campaign was wildly successful with remarkable engagement and millions of impressions distributed around the globe.

Influencers created videos and images showcasing the issues and places they care about, and engaging their audiences in a dialogue around climate change. Collectively, these online conversations helped raise awareness for WWF, the impacts of climate change and how to take political action.
